Educational Campaign

VP Academic, Ben Broadbent (2024-2025), is hard at work engaging with MtA's Academic Support Department to embark on an educational campaign to promote a safe and respectful culture in student-to-student academic assistance. To create this culture, Ben has;

  • Built residence Academic Mentor training presentations

  • Revamped the Nimbus tutoring onboarding process in consultation with Cassie Rodriquez, MtA's DEIAR Student Advisor

  • Started the virtual Nimbus Tutor Wall

  • Developed infographics

  • Promoted on-campus study spaces to Nimbus tutors

Our priority is to ensure all student-to-student academic assistance is in line with Mount Allisons Academic Integrity Policy 5500 and Student Code of Conduct. Peer tutoring should only focus on that in a positive, welcoming, and safe space.
